This shoot was SUCH a dream! We listened to the Lumineers as we made our quick hour drive to the coast. Thanks to the various wildfires in the area the air slowly grew smokier the closer we got to the coast, but it filtered the light in such a way that by 4 in the afternoon golden hour turned into golden hours. We made our way down to the beach, sand squishing between our toes and that salty sea breeze embracing our faces. The Pacific was cold but friendly as we chased the waves in at out of the coast line until the sun finally started to set and then we made our way back up to the car soggy, salty and sand covered, and champagne in hand.
